Formation: Regular Present Indicative Verbs

Very briefly, here are the conjugations of the regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs in the Present Indicative:

Regular -ar verbs

Person Singular Plural
1st -o -amos
2nd -as -áis
3rd -a -an

NB: In the present indicative, the vosotros form will carry an accent on the class vowel. In other words, if it’s an -ar verb, the vosotros form will carry an accent on the a.

Regular -er verbs

Person Singular Plural
1st -o -emos
2nd -es -éis
3rd -e -en

Regular -ir verbs

Person Singular Plural
1st -o -imos
2nd -es -ís
3rd -e -en
