Spanish 4-5 Grammar Bootcamp

En España, hoy es jueves el 21 de septiembre de 2017.

OK, so this is really just a bit of a review. You’re not going to have to do any pushups (just yet).

Here are a couple of pointers for you to look at to get you back in the swing of things:

Vocabulary

After a long, hot, summer, it’s normal to forget some of what you learned last year, particularly if you haven’t used it at all for two months. Take a look at the Spanish 4/5 Essential Vocabulary pages here. You might want to make a handwritten vocabulary list of those words you’re having trouble recalling.

Remember, if you recognize a word, but just can’t remember exactly what it means, that’s still 90% of the way to learning it!

If you see some words that you don’t recognize at all, DON’T PANIC! Just add them to your list and we’ll be reviewing all of this vocabulary in context throughout the first marking period.

Verbs and Structures

To review verb tenses and structures, use the Spanish Grammar drop-down menu in the right side bar —>

You will certainly want to review the following:

If you’re feeling uncertain as to how to use these forms, don’t panic! We’ll be reviewing them all and they will come back to you.
